Welcome to the webpage of the CHEC Research Centre located at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. CHEC is an acronym for Combustion and Harmful Emission Control, referring to the traditional core research area of the group. In recent years, CHEC has also initiated research in the field of chemical and biochemical product design.

On this webpage you will find relevant information on news, staff, research, publications and courses.

Combustion and Harmful Emission Control

/upload/institutter/kt/chec/site/student.jpg The research centre carries out fundamental and applied research on high temperature processes, formation and control of harmful flue gas species and ashes, and on particulate control. More details on specific subjects via the menu below.

Chemical product and process design

/upload/institutter/kt/chec/site/lilian.jpg  Within the area of chemical product design, the research centre conducts fundamental and applied research on biochemical processes and products (detergents), coatings, catalysts and pharmaceuticals. More details on specific subjects via the menu below and a more general description of the area here.
