Our aims within the area of Coatings Technology are to provide in depth knowledge on current coatings issues, to develop mathematical models that quantify coating behavior, and to design experimental equipment for accelerated testing of coatings. We also strive to design novel coatings.
Our approach is based on classic chemical engineering tools and we have a close co-operation with industrial partners, always with the goal of joint publications in the best international journals of the field. Our fundamental coating research supports the traditional empirical approach of the coating industry.
